Qur’an Hifdh Competition

400 students are memorising the Qur’an. The selected Huffaz open the conference.

Let the voices of our little Huffaz welcome you with the beautiful words of Allah

At Ta’meer-e-Millath we believe one of the most meaningful investments we can make in the future of our community is to bring our children closer to the Qur’an.

For this conference, nearly 400 students have taken part in our Qur’an Hifdh Competition, making it one of the most beautiful and inspiring parts of the event.

From young children taking their first steps in memorisation, to young Huffaz who have memorised larger portions of the Qur’an, every participant represents dedication, discipline and a growing love for the Book of Allah.

On the day of the conference, our selected young Huffaz will welcome our guests with heartfelt recitations from the Qur’an, setting a beautiful and spiritually uplifting tone for the day.

“And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there anyone who will take heed?”

Surah Al-Qamar 54:17

A generation growing with the Qur’an

Their voices are a reminder of something every Muslim family hopes for — a new generation growing with the Qur’an, living by it and carrying it forward.

Our competition is not only about identifying winners. It is about encouraging children to memorise and revise the Qur’an, develop confidence in recitation, strengthen their connection with the words of Allah, take pride in learning and preserving the Qur’an, and inspire other children to begin their own Qur’anic journey.

For many of our young participants, this is a chance to challenge themselves, strengthen what they have memorised, and experience the joy of representing the Qur’an before their family and community.

Celebrating our young Huffaz

Organised across age groups and levels of memorisation, so children at every stage can take part.

With nearly 400 participants, the response from children and families has been truly encouraging.

More than a competition

Every child who took part has already achieved something valuable.

  • They have spent time with the Qur’an.
  • They have memorised its verses.
  • They have revised and prepared.
  • They have stood before teachers and judges and recited what they have learned.

That effort itself deserves to be celebrated. Our aim is not simply to run a competition, but to create an environment where children love the Qur’an, parents encourage memorisation, and the community celebrates those who dedicate themselves to the Book of Allah.

Honour the Qur’an, encourage the children

Winners will receive their share of prizes worth up to ₹1 lakh — and, more importantly, will be honoured in front of the gathering at Ta’meer-e-Millath.

For a young child, being recognised before such a large gathering for memorising the Qur’an can become a moment they remember for years, and an inspiration for many other children watching them.

But beyond prizes and recognition, every child who has spent time memorising the words of Allah deserves our encouragement and appreciation.

Our Qur’an Hifdh Corner

A place within the conference for the children who took part.

During the conference, our participants have a special opportunity to recite the Qur’an and be recognised for their effort and dedication.

Selected young Huffaz will be part of the conference itself, welcoming guests with recitation and helping create a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for the day.

The Hifdh Corner is our way of celebrating the children who took part and giving them a place of their own within Ta’meer-e-Millath. We invite parents, families and visitors to listen to them, encourage them, appreciate their effort, and make du’a that Allah keeps the Qur’an firmly rooted in their hearts.

Encourage them today. Inspire the next generation.

Every child who memorises even a few verses begins a journey. Every parent who encourages that journey helps build a home connected to the Qur’an. And every community that celebrates its young Huffaz helps create a generation that understands that learning, memorising and living by the Qur’an is something to be cherished and honoured.

When you attend Ta’meer-e-Millath, take a moment to listen to our young Huffaz, encourage their efforts and celebrate their journey with the Qur’an.
